Judging Begins 10:00 am

This year, we will be using the Brew Competition software for electronic registration of entries, judges and stewards. Please visit our competition site to register your entries and for more information on what styles are accepted, shipping & drop-off locations, important dates, and other contest info. (unlike ReggieBeer, Brew Competition logins are not used among multiple club contests. While you’ll have to register an account just for Bataille des Bières, it will be re-usable from year to year.)

Note, we’ve increased the registration fee this year to $8. This year, your beer will be judged in ‘beer clean’ glassware – not plastic cups!

The event is finished.

  1. ALERT!

Contest location has been changed to the site of the former Cajun Brewing. We need the extra space for a larger number of entries and more judges expected to come.

Thanks to Zeke Bossley for his kind consent to use the building!

  2. 1/15/2020

Three more entries received from Marcello’s, and checked in, today. Total of 15 received. Thirty-five more to go!

  3. 1/14/2020

As contest day (Jan 25) approaches, I thank all those who have sent in their entries. The deadline for registered entries to be dropped off or received at LA Homebrew in Baton Rouge, or Marcello’s in Lafayette, is Saturday, Jan 18.

Entries dropped off at LA Homebrew in Baton Rouge will be brought to Lafayette on Sunday, Jan 19.

I look forward to checking in those remaining entries, so I can finish the task of organizing flights for judging.
