The Dead Yeast Society announces our inaugural homebrew contest, Bataille des Abeilles (Battle of the Bees). It is a BJCP Sanctioned Event. Our entry limit is 18. This is our 6th year running a Mead contest, though previous years were under the Bataille des Bières name. (Mead was always kept and judged separately by mead-only dedicated and certified judges)

We use the Brew Competition software for electronic registration of entries, judges and stewards. Please visit our competition site to register your entries and for more information on what styles are accepted, shipping & drop-off locations, important dates, and other contest info. (unlike ReggieBeer, Brew Competition logins are not used among multiple club contests. While you’ll have to register an account just for Bataille des Abeilles, it will be re-usable from year to year. Also, if you previously participated in Bataille des Bières in any capacity, your same login carried over to this new competition.)

Note, the registration fee is $12 because your mead will be judged in ‘beverage clean’ glassware
– not plastic cups!
