Pre-Meeting Brew Sampling

?? (sorry folks, I was a little late)

6:00 — Call to Order – Tim

6:00 — Treasurer’s Report – Kent

We had $4,359.77 in the bank before the contest.

6:01 — Bataille des Bierès recap – Jim B.

Jim thanked all those who helped with the contest:

  • Jonathan Romain
  • Scott Anderson (securing catered lunch)
  • Lawrence Cramer
  • Jimmy Cox
  • Tim Bernard (securing the venue)

The scoresheets have been re-scanned and uploaded to ReggieBeer.
Lunch was catered by Associated Grocers and none was wasted.
This was the first contest of the year for the Bayou Circuit.
Most of the winners were from Baton Rouge clubs.
We made ≈ $250 after expenses for trophies and awards, which we will sell the surplus for $10 each. (bottle openers with DYS logo)
Phil Coffman suggested to check with smaller craft breweries for donations to raffle off. Sierra Nevada is a big supporter of home brew contests.
