    -This was a formerly infected batch that has been improving with age.

Gene noted that the new Federal Tax Law cuts the rate Craft Brewers pay per barrel in half from $7 to $3.50 for the first 60,000 barrels for 2 years.

Saturday January 20th at the Green Room downtown Lafayette
This will be the 7th annual contest we host
We presently have 30 entries online, none have yet been delivered:

  • 16 – Lafayette
  • 14 – Baton Rouge

Lunch will be donated by Associated Grocers, secured by Scott Anderson.
Entrants and Judges get points on the Bayou Circuit.
Event will start at 10am sharp.
Participants should be there at 9:30am, venue opens for us at 8:30am.

Weekend after the contest at the Green Room.
Recognition for:

  • Each Category – 1st, 2nd, 3rd
  • Best of Show – 1st, 2nd, 3rd

Call for annual membership renewals:

  • $25 – individual
  • $40 – family[1]

Contributions are tax deductible.
We have $4,449.77 in the bank account.

Someone will post a call for nominations on Facebook to have them in by the end of next week. Voting will be at the February meeting.
